Ideally I would be looking for ½ - 1 acre of flat-ish land, although even something around 10m x 32m would work! I’m happy to use a mini digger to level the plot provided it isn’t too steep.

I will use the land to set up some polytunnels.

No public access will be needed as this will all be done online. Only I would need access to the site.

Money! Ideally I’d look to purchase the land rather than renting.

For renting:
As a new business with quite a bit of expenses to get going and needing the land for a minimum of 3 years, I’d be open to coming to an agreement with you.

For example, if you wanted to hit the 10% target, I could supply the trees needed for lower monthly fees or I’ve got experience building dry stone walls and don’t mind getting my hands dirty if you preferred some help around your land!

If you had something else in mind, I’m always up for hearing suggestions.

The Welsh government have a grant for farmers and landowners to cover at least 10% of their land with trees. In return farmers will be allowed to apply for the woodland creation grant which has up to £30 million allocated.
